Nobel Laureate Prof. Richard Ernst to Lecture on Science and Spirituality

Greetings of New Year from the Bhaktivedanta Institute.

We are sure that each one of you must have lot of plans for this new year. We hope and pray that all your wonderful activities be successful by the blessings of the Supreme Lord.

We, from Bhaktivedanta Institute, have declared year 2012 as the year of Science and Spirituality. Year 2012 marks the 75^th Birth Anniversary of Bhaktivedanta Institute’s Founder Director Dr. T. D. Singh (His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami). As a part of these celebrations, the institute will organize various events including conferences and symposia in India and around the world throughout the year of 2012. You are most welcome to participate in these events wherever possible and we also request you to organize some event or activity on science and spirituality in your locality so as to join us in this global endeavor to help humanity through the interface of modern scientific temperament with our precious spiritual wisdom.  

These events are being flagged off from the holy land of Odisha. Prof. Richard Ernst, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry from Zurich, Switzerland will deliver Dr. T. D. Singh Memorial Lecture on “Science and Spirituality: The View of a Western Scientist” at Utkal University, Odisha, on Jan 5, 2011 at 11 am. Sri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb, the Honorable King of Jagannath Puri and His Holiness Subhag Swami are the respected Guests of Honor for this unique lecture.
